The Inept Warmongering Leadership
Within a decade, India has fought and lost two wars with its neighbour Pakistan. Losing one war is bad enough, but losing twice is embarrassing. In India, a lot of soul-searching is going on, and people are asking difficult questions, like, has the Indian leadership failed them? The answer is, yes, it has.
After the February 2019 battle, where India lost two fighter aircraft, the Indian leaders blamed the lack of modern warfare technology for the defeat. So, during the past six years, India went on a spending spree and upgraded their military equipment at the cost of billions.
In a post-hoc analysis, one could argue that this money could have been better spent. For example, by uplifting the level of pervasive poverty in the country or even improving the much-needed infrastructure.
Regardless, the Indian ruling elite grudgingly chose to spend six years preparing to avenge the 2019 defeat. The obsession with the 2019 defeat blinded them and led to their second defeat. The Indian strategists were so focused on overcoming the 2019 mistakes that they entered the 2025 war to fight the 2019 battle. Thus, India appeared unprepared for the response from the Pakistani side.
Has the Indian leadership proven itself inept and unsuitable to lead the people of a great nation? The problem is that warmongering is not their only mistake. They have made a huge blunder of nurturing extremists, for which the whole nation must pay a very heavy price eventually.
Nurturing Hindutva Fanaticism in India
During the past one hundred years, India has allowed an extremist organisation called Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to grow its roots and flourish among the Hindu population. RSS was once considered a fringe group, but sadly, after its political wing, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), entered mainstream politics in the 1980s and won in local and national elections, it has become a monster that even India can no longer control.
RSS’s Hindutva ideology has brainwashed generations of Hindus and turned them into nationalist extremists and fanatics. One may argue that at one time, the RSS leadership had some control over the extremists, but with time, the roles have changed, and now the leadership kowtows to the zealots. Since the ceasefire, the RSS leadership are feeling under pressure to appease the rabble and restart the war with Pakistan.
Brainwashing a nation is never a good idea. The feeling of hatred against minorities, particularly against Muslims, injected into the Hindutva extremist goons will sooner or later inflame the whole nation; it always happens. The final phase of any brainwashed nation is destruction; Nazi Germany is a good example of this. Extremist Hindutva ideology is no different from Israeli Zionist ideology.
Both ideologies are inherently discriminatory, for they promote bigotry, xenophobia and intolerance of believers of other faiths. In Israel, Zionist zealots are waging a genocidal war to ethnically cleanse Palestine. In India, the Hindutva extremists have similar demands. Both India and Israel are natural allies and wish to expand their borders. To achieve their goals, they tell their gullible followers that they are the chosen people and have the God-given right to expand their hegemony over others.
If there are any lessons to be learnt from the history of supremacist ideologies, it is that the final phase of a brainwashed, bigoted nation is a war, and the result is the obliteration of anti-humanity evil ideology.
But the big question is, can Pakistan help India free itself from the Hindutva ideology by itself? Maybe not. Chinese help would be required to help bring down this elephant. Similarly, the Arab world will have to unite, by removing the borders, to help free the world of this widespread scourge called Zionism.
