The American government recently announced that they intend to pull their troops out from Afghanistan by September 11th, 2021. On the surface, this looks like a clear victory for the Taliban, and that the Taliban will soon become the next rulers of Afghanistan. However, there are some questions about the timing of this pull-out from Afghanistan by the American occupying forces. I mean, why now? And is it really a defeat, for the so-called superpower in its traditional sense, or is it a realignment by stealth for a bigger game?
I suspect that the Americans could have an ulterior motive for the pull-out from Afghanistan which the mainstream media is either overlooking or avoiding discussing it. The crucial question is, who in the region is the biggest threat to American interests? Obviously, the answer is China.
Then the question arises, why would the Americans pull out from Afghanistan while the China threat persists? The simple and straightforward answer is to make the Muslim fighters in Afghanistan redundant. Now allow me to explain the reasoning behind this grand strategy in a bit more detail here.
Americans have been working together with Muslim fighters as allies in various wars in the world for decades. For example, against the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 1980s, in Chechnya in the 1990s, in Syria 2011 onward, and Africa, just to name a few. Now the problem is, these fighters would not go elsewhere from Afghanistan as long as they are busy fighting the occupying American forces there. So how to utilise these fighters against China? The answer is, firstly, by making them redundant in Afghanistan.
As you also know that for many years there has been a propaganda campaign against China’s oppression of the Uighur Muslims. I am not defending China here nor am I denying the oppression of the Uighur Muslims. Chinese Communists are responsible for killing over sixty million of their own population during the Chairman Mao era. Since 9/11 over 10 million Muslims have been killed in different wars launched by the American Empire. Thus, I am just questioning the motives of the western propagandists and decision-makers with regards to the Afghanistan pull-out.
At the same time, I do not believe for a second that it was Donald Trump who made the decision (himself) to pull the occupying forces out of Afghanistan. It was likely planned years ago. Plus, the Americans have spent over a decade attempting to encircle China from all sides.
So, once the occupying forces leave Afghanistan, the fighters there will have to find new battlegrounds. it is my thesis that the Americans will be able to successfully convince the Muslim fighters, through intermediaries like the Saudis, to move to the Xinjiang region of China. This would help destabilise China’s eastern borders while Americans and their allies build pressure in the South China Sea. Many western countries are sending their battleships to the South China Sea.
It is for this reason that the Americans had to leave Afghanistan this time, in my opinion. The drums of war are beating already in the South China Sea.
Allah knows best.
