THE CENTROID THEORY

The Heartland Theory

In 1904, the British geopolitical theorist Halford John Mackinder’s article, “The Geographical Pivot of History”, was published in the Royal Geographical Society. Mackinder (1861 –1947) proposed that the key to global dominance lies in controlling ‘The Heartland’. By ‘The Heartland’, he meant Eastern Europe.

Eastern Europe (The Pale of Settlement) at the time was the home of the Ashkenazi Jews. What Mackinder was pointing to was a power hub that John Glubb (1897–1986) would have described as ‘the burst of energy’. For example, this energy was also present in Mongolia when Genghis Khan harnessed that energy by uniting the tribes and then subsequently conquering Central Asia.

By the time Mackinder wrote his theory, the Ashkenazi Jews were already on the march to conquer the world. Between 1880 and 1920, two and a half million Ashkenazi Jews migrated to the United States. In 1917, the Bolshevik Jews took the reins of power in Russia after the revolution. And after the Second World War, millions migrated to the Middle East and occupied Palestine.

Probably inspired by Mackinder’s ‘the heartland theory’, the British Empire and London’s Jewish financiers chose to become the natural allies of the Ashkenazi Jews. This is evident in the Balfour Agreement of 1917. The strings were being pulled from London.

Mackinder’s theory was important and explains much about the geopolitical world of the late 1800s and early 1900s. However, half a century later, new realities had emerged. Most of the Ashkenazi Jews had migrated after World War II from Eastern Europe. And in the absence of that burst of energy, the heartland had become less relevant. Henceforth, the American Empire needed a new vision and a new strategy to dominate the post-WWII world.

The Rimland Theory

In 1942, American political scientist and geostrategist Nicholas Spykman (1893–1943) introduced his Rimland theory.

Spykman, also known as the “father of containment”, recognised that ‘the burst of energy’ had shifted, so the strategy had to change to containment of the Rimland. He emphasised the strategic importance of the coastal regions surrounding Eurasia, suggesting that control of these areas is crucial for global dominance.

The Rimland theory

He had a huge impact on U.S. foreign policy during the Cold War. Just to summarise the last 75-plus years of the American empire’s containment policy in Rimland regions:

  • To contain Europe, the EU and NATO were created and indirectly controlled by the US.
  • To contain the Middle East, Israel was supported and empowered.
  • To contain South Asia, the rivalry between India and Pakistan was encouraged.
  • To contain the Far East, the wars were launched in Korea, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
  • The rise of China happened with the help of the American capitalist elites, who shifted their manufacturing to China.
  • The American Empire continues to play a strong role in all these regions as well as elsewhere.

The empire has built more than 750 military bases to contain the Rimland region. However, now a confluence of factors indicates the empire is struggling to enforce its dominance in the Rimland.

  • There are severe disagreements between NATO members, and Americans may pull the plug on the whole project soon.
  • Zionism is in trouble, and the Arab autocratic rulers can no longer contain the desire of their populace for freedom.
  • The empire is no longer able to secure and dominate the key maritime choke points such as Bab el-Mandeb Strait, Suez Canal, Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Gibraltar, Bosporus Strait, Dardanelles Strait, Malacca Strait, etc. (Zbigniew Brzezinski, The Grand Chessboard).
  • China’s BRI project is presenting a big challenge for the American Empire that it cannot rival.
  • The Western world can no longer boast of the industrial power that it once possessed.

Just like the Heartland theory was no longer applicable after the Second World War, now the American Empire’s hegemonic role is being challenged and is diminishing in the Rimland.

Furthermore, Zbigniew Brzezinski’s theory of dominating the maritime choke points as well as the whole of Eurasia with a combination of military, diplomatic, and economic allies has also come to an end of the road as the empire is in retreat.

A new vision and a new theory are required for the post-Zionism New World Order.

The Centroid Theory

The future is the centroid area. The centre point where the three continents meet: Africa, Asia and Europe. In English, the term centroid means the geometric centre of a figure. The centroid of the world is Al-Quds and the surrounding region. This region has always been a ‘must-have’ for any empire desiring global dominance. It is not only the jewel in the crown of a global ruling empire; it is the crown.

The Centroid Theory

No empire can hold the status of a global ruling superpower unless it dominates and controls Al-Quds. As I have discussed in a previous article, “Egyptians, Greeks, Macedonians, Romans, Muslims, and British deemed it necessary to include this region as part of their empire, and now American Zionists wish to prolong their control over the centroid area.

Whoever controls the centroid area automatically influences the Rimland and the Heartland. Control over the centroid area allows assertion of power over land and all the nearby maritime choke points. Hence, maintaining a balance of power favourable to its rulers.

Four major factors indicate there will be a rise in power in this region.

  1. Demographics.
  2. The burst of energy.
  3. The natural resources.
  4. An ideology.

Regional Demographics

A significant proportion of the MENA population is under 40 years old. On average, 65-70% of the total population in many countries is within this age range. For example:

  1. In Egypt, around 70% of the population is under 40.
  2. In Saudi Arabia, about 60-65% of the population is under 40.
  3. In Tunisia, roughly 60% of the population is under 40.

There is a surge in determination in the new generation for obtaining freedom from the neo-colonial system. The young are adamant about removing the despotic system and getting rid of the puppet regimes. The key is their awareness (the burst of energy) that they recognise they must remove the cancer of Zionism from the MENA region if they are to gain their freedoms. They just lack authentic leadership.

Zionism has not only prevented the development of the region but has, for generations, had a devastating effect on all aspects of life there.

The Choice Between Natural Resources and Zionism

Once the despotic rulers are removed, the control of energy will go into the hands of those who are appointed by the people. Then the world powers will have a choice between natural resources and Zionism. The Western powers will see Zionism as a liability and abandon it.

The struggle underway in the centroid area is nothing new; throughout history, this region has played an important role in the renewal of socioeconomic and political systems. Replacing the obsolescent ideologies with justice, freedom, and equality.

The current neoliberal capitalist ideology is not sustainable, and the world understands this fact. There is only one problem: a replacement system is not available to see and experience. The world needs to witness, by example, the new system.

The Future is the Centroid Area

Currently, the world is going through a transition phase as the Old World Order is heading towards its demise. Now, the duty is on the people of the centroid area to provide, by example, an alternative system that is based on justice, freedom, and equality. The new system must fulfil the spiritual and physical needs of all individuals.

It has to be a system that is not based on a divide-and-rule policy but rather unites the people so that there can be peace in the world. The alternative system must provide:

  1. An alternative economic system that is fair for all
  2. An alternative political system that is fair for all
  3. An alternative judicial system that is fair for all
  4. An alternative social system that is inclusive of all
  5. And a religion that is inclusive of all

It seems the centroid area is the only region in the world that has all the ingredients necessary to transform not only this region but also the transformation of the whole world.

The post-Zionism New World Order will emerge from this centroid area. A positive change and a new beginning are underway.

Disclaimer: I respectfully present this theory based on my observations of what is going on in the Middle East and the globally. I tried to interpret to the best of my ability how the geopolitical changes are reshaping the region. I am going to present evidence as I find it as time passes to give life to theory.
