THE SPANISH INQUISITION (1492) – THE ANTICHRIST BOOK

1492 was a watershed moment; it set a new precedent. Religious intolerance in Western Europe became the new norm. Torture and killing of those not of the same belief system became legalised.

The 1490s decade is a huge puzzle that is asking to be solved, as the long-term impact of events that took place during the 1490s can still be felt in every corner of the world [1]. 1492 saw a lot more than just the eradication of Islam from Spain. Queen Isabella of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon waged a religious war and ended the 781 years old Muslim rule in Andalucía, Spain. But there is more to the story.

First of all, it is worth pondering why the Muslims needed to be in Spain in the first place. Looking at the bigger scheme of things, why did Allah (SWT) want a two-eyed system and a golden age to happen in Spain? The answer is simple: on the day of judgment, those who followed and promoted the one-eyed system will have no excuse to say they did not know any better. Because what the European colonisers practised afterwards had nothing to do with the divine rules. In the Qur’an, Allah emphasises and warns:

There are messengers whose stories We have told you already and others We have not. And to Moses Allah spoke directly. ˹All were˺ messengers delivering good news and warnings so humanity should have no excuse before Allah after ˹the coming of˺ the messengers. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (Qur’an 4:164)

The removal of Islam from the Iberian Peninsula was crucial for the events that took place in the following decades and centuries. Just imagine if Spain continued to have a two-eyed system and divine laws in the 21st century. Would the world have witnessed the kind of vulgarity and debauchery in the name of tourism that is displayed there today?

After 1492, Europeans immediately rejected the two-eyed system and became the first people to be seduced by the Antichrist. Hereafter, Europeans not only rejected the two-eyed system, they launched a centuries-long campaign to conquer the two-eyed world, the parts of the world that applied divine law, finally achieving their goal in 1875 when the Ottoman Empire defaulted.

The important event from the Antichrist’s point of view was the Spanish Inquisition. This event changed the world forever. On January 2nd, 1492, the last Emir of Granada, Muhammad XII, of the Nasirid dynasty, surrendered his city.  On January 6th, 1492, Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile entered Granada as victors.

What pursued was the forced conversion of Muslims in the Iberian Peninsula. 5.5 million Muslims were living in the region in their heydays, which had been reduced to between 500,000 and 600,000 by the end of the 15th century. The numbers continued to dwindle, and between 1609 and 1614, all the remaining Muslims were expelled from Spain [2].

On August 2nd, 1492, the new Spanish rulers decided to expel between 40,000–200,000 Jews from Spain. Forcing them to seek sanctuary in the Muslim Ottoman Empire. Sultan Bayezid II dispatched the Ottoman Navy to bring the Jews safely from Spain. Christians, Muslims, and Jews had coexisted harmoniously in Spain till the Antichrist was unchained.

1492 was a watershed moment; it set a new precedent. Religious intolerance in Western Europe became the new norm. Torture and killing of those not of the same belief system became legalised [3]. Corrupting humanity is something that the followers of the Antichrist have always strived towards.

In modern times, even though many Muslim countries have been attacked by nations under a one-eyed system, and for many decades Muslims have been the victims, Islamophobia is still on the rise in the West. Why? Is it because the one-eyed system is feeling threatened?

It has been a long, over 500-year journey – a journey of killing and murdering Muslims, from the Spanish Inquisition to Guantanamo Bay. The Spanish Inquisition is the predecessor of the Bagram prison camp and Guantanamo torture centre. The aftermath of 9/11 reminds you of 1492. And then there is the coming soon of the genocides of Muslims in the Middle East and India, not forgetting the genocide of the Rohingya people from Burma or genocides in Palestine and Kashmir. Is all this linked to 1492? Or maybe it has something to do with the fear of the return of the two-eyed system.
