“The more things change, the more they stay the same” (An old proverb)
The above painting is very interesting, it reveals the biblical story of an important incident that took place over two thousand years ago. The painting illustrates the famous parable mentioned in the bible about a visit by Prophet Isa (Jesus) to the Al-Quds. The story is known as ‘cleansing the temple.’ In the bible (John 2:13-16), it is said:
When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts, he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So, he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves, he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”
(Just to clarify, the money changers of them days are the same as modern-day bankers).
Al-Quds Is The Centre of The World

One reason why this region is so important strategically and geopolitically is that it connects the three continents. If Africa wants to trade with Asia or Europe it must pass through here and if Asia wants to trade with Europe or Africa it must pass through here. It has been the center of attention for millenniums. Thus, “as well as bringing a new pool of genes into the region, the invaders always brought with them parts of their cultures, their religions and most importantly the new knowledge related to almost every conceivable domain.”
And Allah kept sending prophets in the region to bring the people back to the right path. As for today’s Zionist Jews in Palestine, they are invaders brought from around the world, with no connection to Palestine.
The Bankers Own Israel
If you visit Al-Quds (Jerusalem) now, you will realise that sadly not much has changed in two millennia, since the days of Prophet Isa (AS). This time the bankers are back in power with much greater notability, global outreach, and capability to destroy economies at will.
When the Ottoman Empire was collapsing during WW1, the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour wrote a letter to Lord Rothschild, in November of 1917 confirming that the British Empire would facilitate the establishment of a Jewish nation in Palestine. This meant Al-Quds and masjid Al-Aqsa. [Balfour Declaration]
In other words, the British agreed to give occupied Palestine to a banker as Rothschild’s family are bankers. The British did not make the promise to give Palestine to a diplomat or a politician or a religious rabbi but rather to a banker, yes, a banker. The very same banking family with whom the Vatican has recently declared an alliance. The new alliance is a joint venture they call “Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican.” Do not be surprised by the global oligarchs collaborating secretly to oppress the masses, even when they appear to show themselves as adversaries.
However, this partnership between the Vatican and the bankers is a bit strange. The banks do not give out interest-free loans, as we all know. The banking system’s modus operandi is based on interest. Another name for interest is usury. In the past, most popes have prohibited usury.
Usury Is Forbidden
However, usury has been prohibited in all religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
According to the Jewish scripture, the Torah:
“Take thou no interest of him or increase; but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. Thou shalt not give him thy money upon interest, nor give him thy victuals for increase.” (Leviticus 25:36–37)
According to the Bible:
The Old Testament “condemns the practice of charging interest on a poor person because a loan should be an act of compassion and taking care of one’s neighbour”; it teaches that “making a profit off a loan from a poor person is exploiting that person.” (Exodus 22:25–27)
According to the Islamic scripture, the Quran:
“O believers! Do not consume interest, multiplying it many times over. And be mindful of Allah, so you may prosper.“(Al-‘Imran 3:130)
The Reasons Why Usury Is Forbidden
According to an Egyptian educator, there are important reasons why usury has been prohibited by divine writ:

- The benefits are not mutual.
- The moneylenders inflate their wealth without any beneficial work or effort. They capture the real outcome of the toil in the form of usurious interest.
- The lenders make individuals, as well as governments, plunge into debts. It leads to corruption at all levels of society. Hence, usury creates a system that smashes mankind and makes life miserable for individuals and countries for the benefit of capitalists.
- Usury expedites the concentration of real power and influence in the hands of few, namely the bankers.
- Usury not only leads to moral and mental deterioration of humanity it also disrupts the money cycle and the healthy growth of the economy and society at large.
- The ultimate result of usury is that it leads to totalitarianism. Therefore, usury is forbidden in all religions.
Usury not only disturbs the balance in economic and political realms, it also eventually affects nearly all spheres of human life.
In the Qur’an Allah reminds us that:
“Allah does not bless usury, and He causes charitable deeds to prosper, and Allah does not love any ungrateful sinner.” (Qur’an, 2:276)
Usury leads to many dangerous social illnesses on individual and societal levels. On the individual level, it leads to selfishness, miserliness, mammon worship, narrow-mindedness, and hard-heartedness. On the societal level, it leads to widespread alcoholism, bigotry, chauvinism, corruption, cowardice, cruelty, faithlessness, hedonism, infidelity, injustice, jealousy, prejudices, thoughtlessness, and wastefulness.
Whereas giving charity (alms) creates a society that values generosity, sympathy, open-heartedness, selflessness, ingenuity, the elegance of manners as well as well-wishers. Religion focuses on the purity and morality of people as well as the cordiality within society.
As far as religion is concerned, it is only work and toil that should breed money. However, the bankers’ insidious propaganda has brainwashed the gullible people into believing that usury is in their best interest or that it is for the greater good of the many. People ubiquitously now accept that this is what they want. The total global debt, including individuals, organisations, and countries, is probably more than the resources available on this planet. The debt continues to grow as a result of usury. The 2050 agenda of the World Economic Forum is that by 2050 nobody will own anything and they will lease everything from the billionaire capitalists and multinationals. Capitalists will own everything.
After few centuries, since the world’s first bank Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena was founded in 1472, the result is that the bankers have become the new rulers of the world and the people have become their serfs. The world is in dire need of Prophet Isa (Jesus) again. Ironically, all three Abrahamic religions are expecting the return of Prophet Isa (Jesus). It seems like history will be repeated in Al-Quds after 2000 years.
